January 12th, 2011 Joshua MoyersWell, a quick update. I’ve added several features to this site. You should now be able to tweet/like my posts directly from the post itself. The more you do this the more people get to see this useless blog.
Also: If you want to leave comments on the site you can do so without logging into this blog. I have to approve them, and you need to get past the spam filter but as long as you’re not spam you should be fine. I believe that when you comment on my site, if you’re logged into either Twitter or Facebook it will post your commands and make it appear to be from either your Facebook or Twitter. I haven’t tried while logged into both yet. Enjoy!
Starting my journey…

Well, I’ve decided to throw down my keyboard and pick up a rifle. I’ve enlisted in the United States Army as an 11X (Infantry recruit). I still enjoy website design, but I do not see it as something I wish to make a living with. Anyways… As of March 23rd I will be on my way to Fort Benning, Georgia. While there I will go through 9 weeks of basic combat training (BCT) and 4 weeks of advanced individual training (AIT) in what is called one station unit training (OSUT). As I am going into a combat MOS I will be taking part in all of my training at Fort Benning, hence the OSUT mentioned before.
Before I head to Fort Benning I will be marrying my love, Susan Repko. We will hopefully be getting married on February 18th, 2011. We’re still working out all the details at this current time so I don’t really have much more to post that I won’t have to change later. Susan and I have been together since November 5th, 2009 and have loved every minute of it. (Well, most. I’m difficult to be around.)
I find myself lucky to have someone like Susan who is willing to put up with me and will stick with me through these new life plans of ours. This is a big change for us and hopefully a good one. Within the coming months we’ll sure find out.
