Well, I’m not too crafty when it comes to security. I’m decent but I’m no expert. I did come up with a nifty idea though. As far as I’m concerned this login script should be pretty secure. It asks for 2 passwords, MD5 hashes both of them, then it takes both of those MD5 hashes and puts them into a final MD5 hash to check against the password stored in the database. To top it all off, it only allows 5 attempts every 6 hours.
Of course, it’s all written in PHP. You can check the script out by clicking here! Of course though, with it being as ‘secure’ as I say it is, good luck getting in. The source is also available for download, use and customization. You can snag that by clicking here!

I got bored the other day and figured I’d go about creating an easy-to-use GUI for steghide. My original idea was to create a quick little batch file to make the entire thing an ease, taking care of arguments -n- whatnot for those who aren’t to good with a command prompt or shell environment.
After realizing how much working with Windows batch files sucked, I decided to see what I could do using PHP and its exec() and system() functions. Using these I have created a nice little GUI that allows users to upload an image, type in text and a password and receive a finished image with text hidden within it. It currently only supports JPEG and BMP files, but I could have it work with WAV and AU files as well. I just figured I’d keep things simple.
The script also allows you to extract the text from a steg’d image provided you have the password which was used to embed it. Simply upload the file, input the password and click a button! The text will be displayed and you’ll have your hidden message!
All credit for the program Steghide goes to the original developer. I just used PHP to run the program on my server and return the results. For more information on Steghide feel free to visit its SourceForge page my clicking here.

Well, as always a lot has changed since my last post. There have been a lot of events in my life and all of them have worked out for the better. There is one thing in particular that is bringing me most of my happiness. I am no longer single!
The girl who I am now calling my girlfriend is a special one. For the longest time (Since we met) I have had a bit of a thing for her, but never decided to let anyone know. There was a lot of drama that surrounded her and none of it was anything I wanted to be part of. I kept my distance and showed as little interest as I possibly could. Apparently it worked well because she had absolutely no idea that I was interested. Anyways, after talking to her online about relationships, friends and many other things on our minds I informed her that I had a bit of a crush on her…
Not too long after this we decided to try out a date and see how well it went. Knowing she was special, I wanted to make the first date special to match! I planned our date around wine tasting at the Wolf Creek Winery. The date started with me picking her up from her house with flowers waiting. From there we went to the winery, did some wine tasting, ordered pizza and just had a generally great time. Afterwards we went back to my house, curled up and watched a couple movies. All together I’d say it was a perfect night.
From that point on we have seen eachother constantly and have enjoyed every second more than the last. (At least I have… I hope she feels the same way!) I actually got up the guts to ask her if she was ready to start a relationship and after a bit after that (And a nice romantic cuddling night) she decided she was ready. Since then we’ve been a happy couple for the few days we’ve been together. There’s really not much else to say about this without going on and on about how amazing she is, so I’ll leave it at that.
As for everything else… I’ll save that for another post. I think I’ll get some rest now!
Oh, by the way… SHE LIKES SHOOTING GUNS! WOO!
